Not much is known to Boss' employees about him or how he came about, only showing up in Waukon in '89. There have been local theories about his background, stemming mostly from a Queens inflection and a vocabulary use that has not evolved whatsoever from the 1930s. Due to the accent, there is slight gossip of him being Italian-American (he vehemently denies this, expressing distaste for Italians and "THE COUNTRY OF EUROPE AS A WHOLE") Boss opened the Meat Clown Deli sometime in the mid 2010s, hiring Autumn almost immediately. More notable employees trickled in over the years, although he has a very special distaste for his hardest working employee, Fabio. His favorite is Erezoso, pretty quickly developing a boyish crush on him despite the ethics of if they get into a relationship. When Bongo arrived, he assumed a very fatherly role, almost pampering him in comparison to everyone else.

No one knows how old this guy is, as every time he attempts to give advice, he cites an anecdote that should not be possible for a human lifespan. This, alongside his very ambiguously aged appearance due to his "YOUTHFUL GLOW" and lack of skin (and facial features), leads to the impression that he could either be 50 or 500.

Boss, despite his physical appearance, is incredibly warm and kind to the majority of people he meets. He has a very deep fascination towards the intricacies of humans and their behavior and relationships, wishing he could participate. Boss isn't ver aware of his speaking volume or his size, tending to knock into things or stand too close to someone. He has very little understanding of the little rules humans made for themselves, not knowing what the hell a gender is, or the difference between when he feels feminine or when he does drag. Either way, he rarely has moments of anger, as he's developed a very fatherly approach to talking to people.
